What is the idea?
A self sustained living space to satisfy basic needs
How would idea work?
- We will convert unused structures and lots throughout the region to communal living
- The spaces will provide free living and public services
- It would be income generating and self-sufficient
- People will grow their own food, accept responsibility for one another's welfare, and be responsible for up-keep
Pluses:
- Provide a stable environment
- Access to technology, education, employment
- Self-sufficient, inter-dependency among the denizens
- Helps people in transition
- Gets people off the streets
