Provide affordable co-housing option to young, pre home-owning professionals
How would idea work?
- Capitalize on houses in existing market
- Set up prototype co-housing unit that doubles as a resource center to help other groups set up a similar housing project
- 3 component housing structure: personal, communal, and public

A self sustained living space to satisfy basic needs
How would idea work?
- We will convert unused structures and lots throughout the region to communal living
- The spaces will provide free living and public services
- It would be income generating and self-sufficient
- People will grow their own food, accept responsibility for one another's welfare, and be responsible for up-keep

- Self-sufficient, inter-dependency among the denizens

Rehabilitate houses in low to moderate income neighborhoods by employing youth and out-of-work adults to do renovation and then providing homes to the community to live in and own.

Rehabilitate houses in low to moderate income neighborhoods by employing youth and out-of-work adults to do renovation and then providing homes to the community to live in and own.
How would idea work?
- Target houses on cusp of sustainable neighborhoods
- Deferred mortgages
- Professionals who are flexible and dedicated to oversee and teach workers
- Incentives such as targeting women or minority owned businesses to volunteer and to also make more affordable
